Writing three
I have two things I want to do when I graduate high school. One of the things is something with sports. It can be anything, except sports medicine, but besides that it can be whatever. I think I would have a great career in sports because I know many things about them, especially basketball. If I could work in something to do with basketball that would be great.

Basketball is my favorite sport and I know so much about the game, and think I could do a little assistant coaching for a while, or better yet, I could go to school some where and play for a team. I don’t think that would happen because I don’t have the grades for it. Even being a P. E. teacher would be cool with me because every kid loves going to P. E. class.

When I was younger I couldn’t wait to go to school just so I could go to P. E. I didn’t care about any of my other classes. I was failing all my classes except P. E., but thank goodness that was in middle school because you could fail all your classes and moved on to the next grade. Because of this I got lucky, but classes didn’t matter to me back then.

I wouldn’t care if I was a score keeper at a basketball game, as long as I will be around it. I could also do something with football, my second favorite sport , but I don’t think I could do any coaching in football because some of the plays are too confusing for me. When I was in middle school my Eighth grade year I was on the football team , and it was our first game we didn’t have much practice, and was in a huddle, and the coach called the play. I was supposed to run out, and cut inside, instead I ran straight out, and it was an interception that’s why I never played football anymore. Sports is the best choice for me to have a career in because I don’t think I would be good at anything else.

I think the second best choice for my career would be something to do with cars, like fixing up old cars and selling them. There is so much money in that business. You don’t really have to go to school to learn how to do motor work or paint cars because you can learn it from someone off the streets because there are many people who know how to work on motors and didn’t go to school for it.

My dad taught himself how to do motor work. He didn’t even go to high school. He showed me how to do some things on cars so whenever my motor messes up, I work on it myself instead of taking it to the shop because they can charge so much money and it is possible nothing is really wrong with your car. So that’s one of the good things about working on your own car.

If you want to learn how to work on newer model cars you should go to school because the newer models have more parts than the older models. You have computer machine maps on the newer models, because if that messes up you have no choice but to take your car to the shop. If I could go somewhere and learn how that’s done, somewhere close by like Everest college it would be easy working on cars for me.

My cousin has a car shop and after high school I can start working there without any training. What I don’t know about cars, he could teach me. School would educate me more on old, new, and foreign cars, and if I got really good at it maybe I could do some work for big companies and do some things like they do on Pimp My Ride. I would like to work there because all the things they do to the car, they got to be getting paid a lot for they work. Its no telling how long that takes to do.

Short Story 3
The short story I read was called American History and its about a Puerto Rican girl who was going to public number 13 high school. She didn’t fit in there and didn’t have any friends and she use to sit out on the fire escape and read her library books in the summer and the building she was staying in (El building) sat behind an old Jewish couple and felt as she was apart of there family. She knew when they would argue because she would sit and watch them every day.

The old Jewish man died and the woman moved out, so a boy named Eugene and his family moved into the house the Puerto Rican girl had a crush on Eugene the first time she seen him. She would look for him in school but they were on different sides of the school and one day she seen him but he walked passed like she wasn’t there and she start thinking maybe he doesn’t wanted speak first, so she decided to just speak to him the next time she seen him. She spoke to him and come to find out he was shyer than she was and he was blushing the whole time they were speaking. Eugene invited her to his house to study for a test, so she came down and knocked on the door and Eugene’s mother answer the door she wouldn’t let Eugene study with her because she stayed in El building and telling her "Eugene don’t want to study with you he’s a smart boy he doesn’t need help"

d. I agree with the author because there are a lot of people think they are better than others because they have more money.

4. My favorite movie is the Temptations and the subject is being a famous group and the theme is reaching there goals and going through obstacles. By showing the success and awards they won.
